Our Project

Oasyhotel is a very special place where luxury and nature come together to create a unique destination for curious travellers.
It’s much more than a simple hospitality project: this is an ambitious conservation and cultural programme that will evolve over the next years.

Set in one of Tuscany’s most remarkable natural landscapes, Oasyhotel is a new concept that weaves sustainability with an authentic sense of luxury.

Oasyhotel mission

Our Mission

Oasyhotel’s mission is to create a unique escape that harmonises nature with all the elements that make up a luxurious holiday destination. We like to think of it as “kind luxury”. Set within the WWF-affiliated Dynamo Oasis Nature Reserve, our hotel embodies a commitment to conservation and sustainability while providing guests with authentic experiences, delicious regional cuisine and all the facilities of a five-star hotel. The reserve, home to rare wildlife such as wolves and deer, serves as a rewilding sanctuary where nature thrives and guests are able to reconnect with the wilderness that lies just outside their lodge.

The Four Pillars of the Oasi Dynamo Model

The Oasi Dynamo model is built on four main pillars, each representing a core aspect of our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
These pillars are integrated to ensure a comprehensive approach to hospitality, education, agriculture, and art.

Hospitality at Oasyhotel

Hospitality

At the heart of Oasi Dynamo, the hospitality pillar is embodied by Oasyhotel. Set around a central hub containing our reception, cinema, bar and main restaurant, our 17 contemporary forest lodges are luxurious places to stay that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Each lodge features large windows and verandas that let natural light flood in, ensuring an immersive experience with the wilderness outside. Guests can enjoy authentic dining options at our two restaurants, Le Felci and Casa Luigi Farmhouse, where traditional Tuscan cuisine is prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Our Bistrot offers a relaxed setting for light meals and cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Additionally, wel offer treatments inspired by the four elements, providing a complete approach to wellbeing. Oasyhotel is a complete destination in itself – a very special sanctuary where guests can relax and return home with mind, body and soul rejuvenated.

Educational and research activities at Oasyhotel

Educational and Research Activities

Oasi Dynamo is dedicated to promoting scientific research and education to enhance our understanding of biodiversity and conservation practices. We offer students and researchers opportunities to explore and deepen their environmental knowledge. Monthly wildlife counts are conducted to monitor various species populations. Additionally, internships and theses are available for university students focusing on the conservation of species such as the Apennine wolf and the lesser grey shrike. Educational activities for local schools and WWF summer camps are also integral parts of this pillar, ensuring that the next generation is engaged in and informed about conservation efforts.

Agricultural activities at Oasyhotel

Agricultural Activities

The agricultural pillar is dedicated to sustainable farming practices. We manage livestock, including horses and dairy cattle, and grow organic crops such as potatoes, raspberries and various forage plants. Our farming practices emphasise soil health and respect for natural rhythms, contributing to the overall sustainability of Oasi Dynamo. This pillar supports the hotel's culinary offerings by providing fresh, locally sourced ingredients and ensures that our agricultural practices align with our conservation goals. Oasi Dynamo is dedicated to preserving and revitalising traditional agricultural, livestock, and forestry practices within the reserve. In collaboration with WWF, we implement actions to achieve conservation goals, including protecting the area, preventing fire risks, vandalism and poaching, and enhancing both the productive and tourist aspects of the reserve.

Oasy contemporary art and architecture

Oasy Contemporary Art and Architecture

The OCA pillar focuses on integrating contemporary art and architecture in the Oasi Dynamo model. OCA Oasy Contemporary Art is a private en plein air collection along a 1.5 km route within the reserve, featuring site-specific works by renowned international artists and architects. The route includes an exhibition space that hosts art and photography exhibitions, creating a cultural experience that enriches the stay of our guests. Notable installations include works by artists such as David Svensson, and architects like Kengo Kuma and Michele De Lucchi.

Commitment to local communities

Our Commitment to Local Communities

The centrality of people and community to us at Oasyhotel means we strive to create employment opportunities for local workers, whilst providing training and educational programs that encourage growth both on a personal and society level. Our team is a tapestry of those born here generations ago and new arrivals to Italy who have received a warm embrace at Casa Dynamo. They come with different stories, different skills and different perspectives, helping everyone feel connected with each other and working towards unified goals. Practical through every guest experience, we ensure local knowledge, sincere friendliness, and Italian hospitality which is the secret to every experience.
